Durante i sette giorni di vita di nopasswd gli artisti invitati , italiani ed internazionali , segnalati dalla direzione artistica di nopasswd in maniera totalmente indipendente ed in collaborazione con noti spazi no profit attivi nel panorama internazionale dell'arte contemporanea , insieme a curatori e critici , svilupperanno i progetti da essi stessi proposti in diverse modalità con il comune scopo di interagire con la mappa spazio/temporale e sociale disegnata ed immaginata da nopasswd all'interno del centro storico genovese ed in alcuni casi specifici anche oltre i perimetri della mappa .
I progetti proposti durante nopasswd , per prerogativa stessa del festival , saranno tutti esclusivamente low-budget .
Azioni e performance sviluppate dagli artisti coinvolgeranno abitanti , lavoratori e locali commerciali del centro storico genovese nonché le strade dello stesso , animandole con attività sperimentali visive , relazionali , sonore , performative ...
L'identità di artisti curatori e critici invitati verrà resa pubblica la seconda settimana di Marzo 2009 sul sito di nopasswd .
Ogni giorno delle settimana vi sarà un ampio spazio dedicato al dialogo , durante il quale potranno nascere collaborazioni e provvisori collettivi e dove si potrà iniziare anche un eventuale processo di smembramento e trasformazione dello stesso festival .
Gli incontri ed i dialoghi si terranno nel Laboratorio Sociale Autogestito Buridda www.buridda.org in via Bertani 1 , il quale ospiterà il Festival per tutta la sua durata , dal 7 al 14 Maggio 2009 . All'interno del Laboratorio Buridda sarà adibito un campo base che sarà luogo di confronto , di dibattito ed al contempo quartiere generale con la principale funzione di divulgazione delle operazioni in progress svolte sul territorio .
Il campo base sarà luogo completamente aperto al pubblico che verrà aggiornato costantemente , tramite una bacheca virtuale visionabile sia al campo base sia online sul sito www.nopasswd.com , sui movimenti di artisti curatori e critici in modo da divenire completamente partecipe del processo che porta alla realizzazione dell'opera o dell'azione .
Non vi sarà quindi modo di sapere ne data certa , ne ora sicura , ne luogo prestabilito in cui accadrà l'evento , se non connettendosi in rete e mantenendo
un contatto attivo con il festival iscrivendosi sul sito del festival

All'interno del campo base , unico e solo riferimento fisico stabile sulla mappa del festival , sarà allestito uno spazio tecnico fornito di monitors , proiettore , impianto audio e computers che potranno essere utilizzati da artisti , curatori e critici come strumenti con cui visionare e rendere al contempo pubblica la documentazione delle azioni svolte e le opere realizzate le quali verranno poi pubblicate sul sito giorno per giorno , e su un catalogo cartaceo autoprodotto con le interviste agli artisti ed un resoconto delle discussioni e dei dibattiti scaturiti durante tutta la settimana del festival .
L'identità degli artisti curatori e critici invitati verrà resa pubblica la seconda settimana di Marzo 2009 sul sito ww.nopasswd.com .

During the 7 days of the nopasswd experience , the invited artists , curators and critics Italian and international , ( pointed out by the artistic direction of nopasswd in collaboration with well-known no profit spaces in the contemporary art world ) will develop their own suggested projects in various modes , with the common aim of interacting with the social time/space map imagined by nopasswd within the historical centre of Genoa and in a few specific cases even crossing over the established boundaries . All the projects will be low-budget , as this is one of the propositions of the nature of the festival .
Actions and performances will develop involving local people , workers , shops of the historical centre ... the streets will come alive with visual , relational and sound experimental activities .
The names of the artists , curators and critics invited will be published on the nopasswd web site : www.nopasswd.com .
Every day of the week there will be a conspicuous space dedicated to the dialogue between artists , curators and critics invited , during which group exhibitions and collaborations could arise , and where possibly the actual festival could be transformed and dismembered .
The meeting and dialogues will be held in the temporary centre used as base camp , which will be a meeting and debate point , and at the same time " general quarters" with the main role of divulging the operations in process held on the territory .
The base camp will be completely open to the public that will be constantly kept up to date , thanks to a virtual notice - board that will be accessible both at the base camp and online : www.nopasswd.com .
This will allow the public to take part in the movements of the artists , critics and curators , thus becoming completely part of the process that produces the realization of the work or action .
Therefore , the only way to know where and when the event will take place , is to go online and keeping an active contact with the festival via web-sites mailing-list or SMSlist .
Within the base camp , the one and only physical point of reference on the festival map , a technical space will be set up , supplied with monitors , projectors , computers and audio systems that will be used by artists , curators and critics as tools with which to view and publish the documentation of the works and actions realized . These will be then on display on the web-site daily and on a self-made catalogue that will include interviews with the artists and an account of the debates that the festival will have sparked off .
